Daily Ecnouragements

It is so important to keep one heart`s right everyday.  This is start with a determination to keep the right attitude in every sutuation.  This means that before any thing happens you have already determined how you are going to react and what you are going to do.  For me it is simple every morning when I get up I determine that I am going to walk in forgiveness and no matter what you do to me I will not do the same to you.  I choose to treat you as I would want you to treat me.    Love must be the rule of thumb that we operate from.  When we have learned to love ourselves first then we can love others.  I am not talking about self love but a love that comes from knowing God that envelopes us inside first and then is communicated to others.  Forgiveness and love are the true encouragements that we can give others everyday.

    Today I went for a prayer walk around St. Albert. This is my 10th in two weeks. I know that this city needs to be touched by God. I am very excited about what God will do. I am also very excited about having the privilege of being able to dedicate our grandchildren on Sunday.

    My daily encouragement today is never forget that each day is a gift and that to use it wisely to touch others. Start with your family, then friends and anyone that you come in contact wit. Remember you are only ere for a short span of time and so make the maximum effect in the minimum of time.

    Today is a day to rejoice in all the blessing God has given you. Irving Berlin in his song, "Counting my blessing." from the movie, "White Christmas," says, "if we get worried and cannot sleep, count our blessings instead of sheep, we will go to sleep counting our blessing." Counting our blessings is a very effective way to destroy, doubt, fear, anxiety and so many other destructive things. This allows to stay focus on the things that are important like family and friends. So today count your blessings even if you cannot find very many.
