It is written

Aug 13 – It is written – Psalm 102:18

     The psalmist has a wish and desire.  What He has written will be a record for future generations.  The

Bible is God’s written account of His dealing with mankind.  It is a picture of His character and nature.  It

Is a written record of His plan of salvation.  Man broke his relationship with God and God restored it

through Jesus Christ.  The Bible records earth’s beginning and end.  It tells of how Israel began and how

it will end.  In the beginning God g=created the heavens and the earth.  In the end He will create a new

heaven and earth. 

     This psalmist is a witness of the goodness of God in this generation and the generations to come. 

Mankind needs salvation and God has provided it.  The Bible is a book written about the human

condition and why we are as we are.  It is also a book of hope. 

Tuesday Thought

It is Tuesday and here is your thought to today. In 1 Cor 3:16 it states, Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? Paul tells his readers that as the temple of the Holy Spirit we have the presence and reality of God living inside us. We are different from those around us. We represent Him in our world. That means we think, talk and live differently. We are bearers of righteousness, peace and joy. What a thought. You can touch others for God in your world. So today remember who you are and who you represent. What a great privilege and responsibility.

The Lord will Rebuild

Aug 12 – The Lord will Rebuild – Psalm 102:15-17

     The psalmist continues telling his audience that the Lord will rebuild Zion.  His cares and keeping is

Consistent with His promise to Abraham.  The Lord will always keep and help His people.  This is grace

And love in action.  He will appear in His glory.  The Lord will show His character and essence in every

Situation.  God will never waver in how He deals with us.  Truth, righteousness and justice is who God is. 

From Genesis to Revelation you see the consistency of God.

     He will respond to the prayer of the destitute.  Jesus said when you are hungry and thirsty for God

you will be filled.  The Lord will never despise or refuse the cry and prayer of a sincere heart.  If you seek

Him you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart.  The secret is seeking.  Jesus said, knock

and the door will be open to you.  Seek and you will find.  Ask and it will be given unto you.  Many times

I have heard words where God has told us to draw near and He will draw near to us.  When you

in the middle of a crisis, problem, trial or situation. Cry out to God and He will never despise your

inquiry.  He will answer and minister to your need.  George Mueller found this true in 60 years of helping

orphans and you will as well.  Remember God is no respecter of person.  He will deal with all the same

way.    

Monday Thought

It is Monday and here is your thought. In Isaiah 41:10 is says, So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. You have Nothing to fear today because the Lord is with you. You do not have to be in confusion for the Lord has all things under control So as you go through each moment this day the Lord will keep you and save you. What a great thing. So be in victory today.

Empty

Empty - Three

     The Lord reminds all who do not know him have three characteristics.  First, they are in a state of confusion.  They do not know which way they are going.  They do not know what life is about and they do not know where they will end up.  Confusion has two defintions.  It is lack of understanding and uncertainty.  Confusion is the state of being bewildered or unclear in one's mind about something.  Mankind without God is this way.  God is not the author of this but satan is.  Nothing is in harmony with the ultimate purpose of God.  The carnal mind is at war with God and spiritual things are foolisness.  Only the Lord can bring order, harmony and purpose.
     Without the Lord their is emptiness.  You have a void in your life.  Blaise Pascal calls this a vacuum, a place of nothingness that only God can fill.  Paul states in Rom 7:18 that in our flesh no good thing dwells.  Man is untterly lost without hope and help without the Lord.  Job states that who can bring something clean from the unclean.  The Lord is mighty to save and wishes to fill that emptiness and void in your life.
     Without the Lord there is only darkness.  There can be nothing but darkness until the light is sent.  Jesus is the light of the world.  Allow Him to come into you life and bring truth and light.  We will remain in darkness until we allow the light of the Lord to shine forth in our life.  To be under sin and its power is to be aligned with satan who is known as the prince of darkness. 
     Today allow the word and power of God to be spoken into your life.  Allow God to pull you out of darkness into his marvelous light.  God spoke and light came.  God spoke and things began to form.  God spoke and life came.  This is God's word.  Let Him speak and let His word bring, life, light and truth into your life.

Weekend thought

It is the weekend and here is your thought. In Psalm 147:3, it states, He heals the brokenhearted

and binds up their wounds. What a great promise. When ever you have been hurt or broken the Lord is there to patch you up. He will heal and mend you. It i so wonderful to have divine help. So today stand upon that promise and heal.

Thursday Thought

It is Thursday and here is a thought to ponder in Psalm 75:1 it states, We praise you, God,
we praise you, for your Name is near;
people tell of your wonderful deeds. So David is encouraging people to declare the wonderful deeds of the Lord. To boast of what the Lord has done. When God does something great in your life tell others. This is called a testimony. In Revelation is states that we overcome by the Word of our testimony. So today tell others and become an over comer
