The Lord of Plenty
The recurring theme has
been that God is your source and the one who gives abundantly. In Lev 26:5, the Lord has promised to give
you plenty to eat and you will always be able to give to others and that your
generosity will be well known. The Lord
delights in you and will prosper you in the land that He has given you. Deut 30:9
David talked about abundant provision in Psalm
132:15, for truly the Lord is a God of provision. Isaiah says that the Lord will bring rain on
the land at the right time and that it will release of harvest of plenty in Is
30:23. The prophet Amos once again says
that we will have new wine and that reaper will overcome the sower. Truly the Lord desires to prosper His people.
The conditions for this release is to draw near to God. We are to seek His face, repent, show true
humility and love those who hate you.
You are to bless and not curse.
Refuse to be corrupted and never give into temptation. We are called to be strong in our godly
convictions, refuse pride and our eyes on the Lord. As children of God we are called to love all
in the name of the Lord and the Lord will supply with abundance and
plenty. You will be secure in the land
you well in and you shall bless all who come into your presence. His promise is that if you do the previous
things you will prosper.
