Draw Close while there is still day.

The Lord spoke this morning at Cornerstone Community Church.  He reminded us that the time of His coming is quicker than any of us imagined.  As always when the Lord speaks of His second coming there is also an exhortation to do something.  Today He spoke about drawing close to Him.  To not lose sight of His face.  It is the only thing that cannot and will not be shaken in the coming days.  When we draw close to God it means that we will become intimate with Him.  We shall receive and know His love.  His grace, peace and mercy will be given to us.  Heb 4, reminds us that when we come to the throne of grace, we can come with confidence because we have a High Priest who knows exactly what we have gone through.  It says that He was in all ways tempted as we were yet without sin.  So we can come to the Lord with confidence knowing that we will receive grace and mercy in our time of need.  Also as we draw close to God we also see His will much clearer.  Drawing close to God also exposes those areas of our lives that need to be dealt with.  We see in those times of closeness that these things we have held onto so dearly are really things that will eventually destroy us.  So today draw close to God.  Let Him heal, restore and bring you to victory.  Know that the Lord is coming back soon and we need to be live ready.  Remember your redemption is drawing close.
