CROWNS GIVEN BY GOD

 

The Crowns Given By God

 

The Crown of Life -  James 1:12

 

-        Crown given to those who are faithful unto death.  This crown is given to every believer who lives wholly for Christ.  They endure temptations, trials and sufferings.  They overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony.

 

The Crown Incorruptible  - 1 Cor 9:24-27

 

-        Given to those who are faithful unto the end.  It is not how you start that matters it is how your finish.

 

The Crown of Rejoicing – 1 Thess 2:19-20

 

-        This is commonly known as the soul winner’s crown.  It is given to those who either win or support those who win souls.

 

Crown of Righteousness – 2 Tim 4:5-8

 

-        It is a crown given for those who have looked forward to His       

     appearing.  Jesus is our soon coming King.  This is a motivation  

     for working for the Lord because we do not know the day or hour

     He will come.

 

Crown of Glory – 1 Pet 5:2-4

 

-        This is a crown to the faithful pastor, elder or church leader.
