APOSTLE PAUL

 

     Paul in his letters like to introduce himself as a servant of Jesus Christ.  Paul called himself and apostle and his primary duty was to the gentiles.  From what we learn from his testimony is that even before he was converted God had a plan in mind for him and he has the same for us. 

     Paul when speaking to the different letters he writes reminds us that the message he brought was not new but had been foretold by the prophets.  He also talked about the importance of holiness and walking in the purity of God which he did as well as anyone.   Paul reminded us that this message came through the love and grace of God.  It is received by faith and acted out in action. 

     Paul encourages us to have a relationship with God and follow the example of Jesus Christ.   Paul calls us saints and the family of God.  He told the people that Jesus was the Lord Jesus Christ.  Talking about his authority, humanity and messiahship.  Paul also reminds us that we should follow the Lordship of Christ and deny anything that keeps us bound. 

     Paul loves to talk about what Jesus did for him and in turn for us.  Jesus is the seed of David.  He is holy, anointed and powerful.  He also reminds us to keep in the word, walk in the Holy Spirit and pray.  He also reminds us that waiting on the other side is rewards and blessings.  So live for the Lord and be his representative in your world today.
