May 6 – The human condition – Psalm 51:5
David then states the human condition. This is the reason why man is separated from God. We are sinners from birth. We inherited the Adamic nature. When Adam sinned he passed it on to his offspring. David stated that he was sinner from the moment he was conceived. That is why Jesus was born of a virgin. He did not possess this nature. His conception, birth and life made Him the perfect sacrifice for mankind. Jesus was 100% God and 100% man the perfect union of the divine and the natural.
Jesus Christ knew who mankind was and he chose to sacrifice His life for our sins. He saved us from our own sinfulness. The grace of God was extended to us that while we were yet sinner Christ died for us What the first Adam did, the second Adam who is Jesus Christ undid and now we have a friendship and peace with God. What a wonderful reality. Share this truth with those in your world today.
