Right Correction

Right Correction – Twenty Three

     The Lord is willing to correct His people for their own good.  Remember if we regard iniquity in our heart the Lord will not hear us.  It is time for the people of God to remember that both judgment and revival begin in the house of the Lord.  If my people which are called by my name will humble themselves pray, seek His face and turn from our wicked ways the promise is that the Lord will hear from heaven and forgive us of our sins.  It is only through the act of humility and obedience will true revival come.

     The Psalmist said, if was only after the Lord corrected that He were grateful.  It was only after the correction of the Lord that this person understood that they were to live a certain way.  The mark of insanity is doing things the same way and always expecting different results. 

     The people of God are called into the School of Obedience which has one goal and that is to make them like Jesus Christ.  The Bible says that the Lord Jesus Christ learned obedience by the things that He suffered.  If Jesus learned obedience by the things that he suffered so you will learn the same way. 

     The Lord will never forsake you or leave you so you never have to worry about being forsaken.  He is only as close as the mention of His name.  Our cry is that we should never slip back into old patterns which are very hard not to do.  So today, give all your heart to the Lord and let Him keep you safe in this wicked and corrupt world.
