March 24 – Psalm 34:2-3 – Glorify the Lord.
David continues with what we talked about yesterday. I will make my boast in thee Lord or I will boast in the Lord. When you are proud of someone you will boast and praise them before others. When you love someone you will always share about the things you love about them. David would boast of what the Lord had done. For example, he heals our body, touches our mind. He helps us just in time. This boasting is designed to give the afflicted hope and help. It is amazing how a testimony of how God helps others can inspire you to trust the Lord.
David says together let us glorify the Lord and together let us exalt His name together. When we unite with others and worship the Lord it has a profound effect. When two or three are gathered the Lord is there. When two or three pray their prayers will be answered. We feed off of each other. Prayer and praise are infectious when done together. We encourage each other. That is why going to church is so important. It is a time of unified worship. It energizes and inspires. So today boast, praise, glorify and worship God. It will inspire you and others and glorify the Lord.
