- He was assured of divine presence with him
and the certainty of success is given through
Supernatural signs to encourage his
faith. Jud 6:16-21
Gideon, a judge in ancient
Israel, is portrayed as a character with both strengths and weaknesses. He is
known for his humility, faith, and obedience to God. However, he also displayed
timidity and a degree of doubt initially, questioning God's presence and
guidance. Despite his initial reluctance, Gideon ultimately demonstrated
courage and led the Israelites to victory against the Midianites.
