Salvation among the nations – Psalm 98:2-3
The writer of this Psalm is unknown but
they do state some wonderful things.
First, they reveal that
the Lord
has made His salvation known among the nations.
This message of love and forgiveness is
known. The showcase of this truth is the nation of
Israel. Through the witness of their
lifestyle the
show God’s
grace and mercy. Today that vessel is
the church. We are his ambassadors in
our world.
What is
your life saying? This is sober
thought. You are called to live your
life so well that even the
town
gossip would vouch for you.
The Lord will remember his love and
faithfulness to Israel. God is not
finished with Israel. In fact it
Is the
mercy and grace of God that we are in the family of God. The nation of Israel today is once again
The
showcase of God’s salvation. The fact
that it can stand up to 100 million people who hate it and
wish for
its destruction shows the love of the Lord.
Its nationhood showed God’s care and forgiveness.
Today let
us stand for the Lord in our world and make His salvation known by our words
and actions.
