June 9 - Life and death - Rev 11:7

 

Vs 7 – Now when they had finished their work and testimony the became vulnerable.  Up to this point  they have been able to defeat the forces of the beast who is the anti-christ.  The personal incarnation of satan on the earth.  The beast who has come from the bottom of the pit was now able to make war against them.  This beast is mentioned nine times in the book of Revelation.  The witnesses and the beast were at war for a long time.  The witnesses were successful in defeating the forces of hell until the end of their time period.  Now the beast was able to overcome them.  He would then kill them.  The ones who had not died were now entering the same portal as all mankind.  Death comes to all of us even those who had not yet perished.  This was the reason Enoch and Elijah had not died.  They had one great task ahead of them.  Like them we have only a short time left.  We must tell all in our world about the coming of the Lord.  We must share with power, authority, might and dominion that God will execute judgment on this planet.  This is not the time for timidity but courage.  Our loved ones and friends are at stake.  The devil wants to destroy them as he did the witnesses.  We are at war make no mistake about it.  We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.  Life and death are at stake.
