June 11 - Great celebrations - Rev 11:10

 

Vs 10 -  For the those who dwelt on the earth these two prophets reminded them about a God they did not want or care for.  They had been tormented because of these two witnesses.  They expressed their joy over their death by having parties, celebrations and sending gifts to each other.  The world loves its sin.  That which has become wrong is right and that which is right has become wrong.  These two witnesses reminded them and were representatives of a God who in their mind hated and despised them.  People who live for God will be haters, bias, bigots and racist in the eyes of the world.  We see that now in the West.  They were tormented by the two witnesses because they refused to stop sinning and they have pledged allegiance to the beast and his system.  When the church is gone there is no restraining force for evil, only judgment which these two witnesses brought.
