Betrayal

July 6 - Betrayal - Rev 13:7

Vs 7 - So this individual was given power and authority to do three things.  First, he will make war with the saints.  That means anyone who identifies themselves with the Lord, Jesus Christ and with the church will be hunted down, imprisoned and executed.  From previous chapters we know that accepting Jesus Christ during this will be a death sentence.  During this time the society has a whole will participate in the whole sale slaughter of the saints.  Family members, neighbors, work associates will betray and actively participate in the betrayal and persecution of the saints.  He will overcome all opposition.  It will be open season for the church.  The last time period of the Tribulation will be a time of unspeakable, cruelty, death and destruction.

     The antichrist will also have power, authority and dominion over every kind of person throughout the world.  There will not be a people group, tribe or group of people not under his authority.  He will have power over every tongue.  His speeches, image and persona will be everywhere throughout the world.  There will not be one language where his name is not spoken, admire and advanced.   All nations will bow to him.  He will be the leader of the United Nations.  It will do his will with no opposition.  Everything and everyone will follow Him.  Remember if a person does not follow God they belong to satan.
