May 28 - A Mighty angel - Rev 10:1

Vs 1 -  John then sees another mighty angel.  He is not just talking about power, but authority, might and dominion. He was clothed in a cloud.  Each angel has a different manifestation.  This makes them distinct from each other.  Just shows the imagination of God.  God’s creation is so unique.  No two snowflakes are the same.  In our make up no person has the same fingerprint or eye print.  He had a rainbow above his head.  The rainbow is a remembrance of the fact that God will never again destroy the world by water.  It also reflects the colors the earth and universe is colored in.  God colors our lives and remembers all his promises given to us.  This angel’s face shone like the sun.  He reflected the glory and makeup of God.  Angels reflect and show the same characteristics of their creator.  Remember angels are completely pure and holy.  They chose to be that way when the war in heaven took place.  His legs were like fiery pillars. This shows the purity and stability of God.  When you have the Lord in your life you have stability, purity, and holiness.  The Lord will burn away any dross and give you the life filled with abundance.
