The Light of the World

 The Light of the World – John 8:12-20

                Jesus here gives His sermon on how that He is the Light of the World.  If a person walks in the light they will never be in darkness.

1.       Jesus is the Light of the world and whoever believes in Him will never be in darkness.  He is the light of love.

2.       Jesus’ testimony is valid because He tells of Himself and He knows where He is going.

3.       Men pass judgment from human standards.  Jesus will pass judgment on no one.  His decisions are right.  The testimony of the Father is what Jesus has.

4.       The people of the world have no idea who Jesus is.  Jesus then told them that He was going away and no one would know where He is going. 

5.       Let Jesus today be your light and never walk in darkness again.  You shall know the truth and the truth will set you free.
