We are guilty

We are guilty  -  Sixty Eight

Today there are four things that the church has been guilty of.  These realties have been known for almost a century but now they are being exposed by the Lord so we can repent and move into a new reality and time with the Lord.
There must be special preparation for the return of Christ and at least half of all believers will be totally unprepared.  The promise of Joel 2:28, every day is becoming more and more a reality.  The Lord is preparing His bride for His soon coming.  He is looking for a bride that is white as snow and holy.  He will not be coming for a church that is stain with sin or a compromising church.  It is time that we get our lives ready.
There will be many Christians who believe that they can do whatever they want and God will look the other way.  The grace message is a wonderful message but it can be taken too far.  We must keep short accounts with God and man.  The Lord does not wink at sin.  Jesus died on the cross so that we would not have to be under the power of sin and death.  Grace is the means in which we came but we must realize that there is a day of accounting.  It Is time for us to not take advantage of the Lord`s grace and remember it is terrible thing to fall into the hands of an angry God.
It will be common for preachers to deny the existence of hell.   Denying hell prepares the way for antichrist.  Hell is a reality.  I met several preachers who did not believe in hell.  They said it was a myth created by church leaders who believed that scaring people out of hell was easier than loving them into the kingdom.  We must remember that hell is a holding place for souls that will face the final judgment.  It Is no less terrible than the lake of fire.  The writer of Hebrews reminds that we have but one life and then judgment.  God has done everything He can to keep us from going to hell but the choice of where we spend eternity is ours.  Preachers have tried to soft soap the gospel or make it less offensive but remember it is offensive for people to go to hell so we must tell the truth in love and not deny it.
It is offensive to talk about the Blood of Christ.  The blood of Jesus Christ is the most powerful element on the planet.  One drop can cleanse all sin, for all time.  There are so many benefits.  The devil has attacked the concept of the blood of Jesus Christ from the beginning because it defeated him.  We must focus our preaching on the blood.  We must not compromise or take this element out of our message.  Jesus shed His blood so that we might have redemption and salvation.  To not talk about it offends the Lord.  Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin.  Sin is what separates us from God.  Even though this four characteristics are in the church they can be reverses by a revival and a return to the elemental doctrines of the church.  Let us pray and work towards this end for the glory of God.
