Guilty as charged  -  Sixty Nine

     This is a continuation of my last word.  There are things the church is and will be guilty of in this last generation.   The world will look to worship a man and will overlook his faults to get him into power.   We see this lately in the United States and their leadership.  This has been going on for a generation in Canada.  We also look at a person`s qualifications instead of their qualities.  Godliness must be the mark of any Christian leader.  We should never choose a leader because they fit a certain criteria or that they are so called politically correct.  Many churches are now choosing people for leadership and ministry that are contrary to the World of God.  The Bible expressly forbids anyone for ministry that does not qualify according to biblical standards which are very clear.  The ministry is not a professional it is a calling.  A high and holy calling and only those who take this calling seriously and do everything to please God will not rejected by God.  Man however has lowered the standards to the point where we are the Jeroboam’s of this day.  We choose anyone because we are worshipping the golden calf.  Churches today are feeding at the demonic stronghold of the golden calf.  When you reject God’s standards and qualifications for godly leadership you have prostituted yourself to the baal’s of this world.  Covet the best for the ministry and not the minimal. 

     This is a stern warning to the churches and denominations that have given into the pressure of special interest groups, government, community associations, media or celebrities.  You have become spiritual prostitutes.  You are no better than any pagan priest or false prophet.  The worst part is that you disguise yourself as a Christian organization.  You are clouds without water, foam on the sea and fruit without substance.  You have become an abomination in the sight of the Lord.  Repent quickly or the Lord will take your lampstand from you.  Many of you have already had your lampstand removed by what you have done.  You are no more than a social club leading people to hell in the name of Christ.  The problem is you do not even see it.  It is the blind leading the blind.  Jesus put it simply, “You are white washed tombs full of dead men’s bones.”  You bring someone to your church and then you make them twice deserving of hell.  Repent and the Lord will restore you.  He will heal you of your backsliding.  It is not too late.  You can leave your madness and come back but this door is only open for a short while and then the Lord will judge you.  Be wise and choose the Lord.
