Out of our innermost being

Out of our innermost being  -  Eight Seven

Jesus told His audience that out of the innermost being comes the issues of life.  Sooner or later what is in the heart will emerge either in one’s conversation or actions.  What you brew and meditate on will sooner or later show up in your life.  If you think about unforgiveness, passion, pleasure or evil that is what will come out no matter how you try to mask it.  This is the reason Jesus said to Nicodemus that we must be born again.  Only the Spirit of God can regenerate a heart.  Being born from above is the only way to reform a heart.
Man by nature is evil and corrupt.  David said, “In sin and iniquity my mother conceived me.”  Mankind has been separated from God since the fall of Adam and Eve.    Sin has been the culprit behind every major breakdown in society.  Satan feeds on it.  He temps, deceives and accuses.  It would be safe to say that most evil committed in the world is manmade and man driven.  Yes satan is behind evil but mankind has given him fertile ground to work.  But praise God there has been provided a solution.  Through Jesus Christ mankind can have a new nature, outlook and opportunity.  We must be born again.  This new birth is the only thing that can stop the march of sin in this world.  Society will be changed when millions of people get right with God.  When someone seeks first the kingdom of God all things will eventually be made right in a life.  You want a good home, proper relationships, happiness and even wealth you have to get right with God.  Dave Ramsay said recently that our morality and relationship with God effects how we spend, save and work with money.  When we know that we are managers of the resources we have it changes our view on to use it.  That is why we can become cheerful givers because we know all things belong to God.
So here is your reality check.  Look honestly at your life.  Examine every area and then get right with God and begin a new life with proper priorities, motives, attitudes and vision.  Then you can and will have the life God intended for your life.
