Nov 23 – Before Him – Psalm 140:13

 

     Did you know the righteous have a dwelling place?  David points it our here in this verse.  The righteous by nature will be worshippers.  David was a worshipper and a man after God’s own heart.  Worship is an attitude of the heart expressed.  David throughout the psalms encourages his audience

To praise the Lord.  Praise should be the natural language of the child of God.  Praise says we should

Praise the name of the Lord because He is worthy. 

     Then David states that the upright will live before the Lord.  David knew that the earth is not our

Main destination.  We are just pilgrims passing through.  We were never designed to be settlers.  The

Book of Hebrews that Abraham was a man who was looking for a city who maker and builder are God.

That city is the New Jerusalem.  Are you looking forward to your home in eternity?  It is your future dwelling place?  Yet right now you can have God’s presence with you as you worship and praise the Lord.  So praise the Lord.
