Oct 1 – The Lord is with me – Psalm 118:5-7

 

     The psalmist here was in anguish.  He was is serious trouble and he did the right thing.  He called out to the Lord.  Do you call out to the Lord in trouble or do you try to handle it yourself?  The psalmist knew the Lord would deliver him and the Lord did.  The Lord set him free.  You shall know the truth and the truth will set you free.  The truth is the Lord can and will heal you if you call out to Him.  This verse is a personal testimony of God’s goodness.

     This next verse to so powerful.  The Lord is with us and what can man do to us.  With God with us we are a majority.  We do not have to be afraid.  Fear is a spirit and is driven out by perfect love.  When you live for the Lord you know to live is Christ and to die is gain.  Death has lost is sting and victory.  No man can harm you because whether you live or die you are with the Lord.

     The Lord is our helper.  We will triumph in the Lord.  Remember you are a victor, conqueror and over comer today.  You can run through a troop and scale a wall.  No one can defeat you in the Lord.  These are wonderful promises of protection and victory.  Take them to heart today.
