Future Foretold

The Future Foretold – Matt 24

    We have been looking at Matthew 24 and future events.  Jesus calls these signs.  They have been describes as Signs of the Times.  Many false messiahs will come and perform miracles and deceive the elect if possible.  Do not go anywhere to find such people.  It is very important to watch and pray.  Do not believe anyone or anything.  Make sure everything they say lines up with the Word of God or reject them and their teaching.

    As the lightning is from the east to the west so shall be the coming of the Son of Man will be.  The sun will be darkened,  The moon will not give light, stars will fall from the sky and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.  The Son of Man will come with His angels in power and glory.  The angels will gather His elect from the corners of the earth.  A day of gathering is coming.

    This generation will not pass away before His coming.  Heaven and earth will pass away before the Lord’s word.  When God makes a promise He will keep it.  No one knows the day or the hour that the Son of Man will come.  As in the days of Noah so shall be the coming of the Son of Man will be.  This is why we must live like this could be the last day on the planet because it could be.  Like the children playing hide and seek, “Ready or not here I come.”  Are your ready?
