The Lord does not lie  -  Fifty Nine

      The Lord has promised not only to the nation of Israel the following promise but to all His people far and wide.  The Lord will always fulfill what He says.  The Lord will first write his laws into our minds.  This will be a work of the Holy Spirit.  It is so exciting to be taught by the Lord.  The Holy Spirit is the great teacher.  He takes what the Father says and reveals to us.  You will know the plans and purposes of God.  You will not be in the dark concerning what God wants you to do.  You will understand God`s perfect and acceptable will if you open your mind to the Lord.  You will be thinking about God’s word and will day by day as you submit your thought life to the Lord.  This takes real discipline. 

     Next the Lord will write His laws in our hearts.  He will take it from the realm of the mind and transfer it to the heart.  Remember out of the heart comes the issues of life.  When something has been transferred to the heart it becomes lifestyle.  God wants holiness, righteousness and truth to be part of your mission of life.  When God has your heart He has all of you.  He will have your family and your finances.  Your time, talents and resources will belong to Him.  Let the Lord have your heart like the song says.

     I will be their God.  When the Lord has your mind and heart He has you.  You will call Him your God.  You will be proud to testify of Him.  Nothing will be able to persuade you that God is not real and that you belong to Him.  If we are ashamed of Him He will be ashamed of us.  To name yourself among the people of God is a real privilege.  Many have been called but few make themselves chosen.  You make yourself chosen by giving your life to the Lord and then following Him with every fiber of your being.   Belonging to God is refusing to identify with this world and standing up for the Lord no matter who comes against you and what is said. 

     We will be His people.  God will call you His own.  You will have all the rights and privileges of being a son or daughter of God.  All the benefits and realities of heaven are at your disposal.  God will be everything you need and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory.  The Lord will do exceedingly abundantly beyond what you are able to ask or imagine.  The Lord wishes you to dream big dreams and then trust Him to fulfill them.

     The preceding is a passage from Zech 8:8.  Let the Lord teach you and remind Him of His word.  The Lord has placed the word above His name.  Stand on the promises like the old hymn says.  Never let them go for they are the basis of faith.  The love of God is the foundation of faith and this in turns into hope.  You have a hope and future according to God’s word.  Do not worry about tomorrow for the Lord knows exactly what you need even before you ask,  Stand in the victory of the Lord.
