Jonah lessons

Jonah learned his lesson – Jonah 2

    Jonah had been thrown into the sea.   A fish swallowed Jonah and in the fish he repented, prayed and

decided to do the will of God.  Given a second chance which all of us need from time to time.  He preached in Nineveh, the repented and the city was spared.  The reality is that the very last thing God wants to do is bring judgment  He is long suffering and does wish any to be go to hell but that all would come to the knowledge of the truth.   Jonah got angry with God because he wanted to see Nineveh

destroyed.   Jonah was not also a reluctant prophet be a judgmental one as well.  He was moody and bias.  Through his example we learn that inspite of all our human frailties God can and will use us if we will simply submit to His will and follow His plans for our lives.
