God uses dream to speak to people  -  Twenty

I had a dream and yes, God uses dreams to speak to His people.  Two examples were when God spoke to Pharaoh and Nebuchadnezzar.   In both cases either Daniel or Joseph were able to interpret those dreams and God elevated them into positions of influence.  My dream was one where God told me some of the future of what would be happening in our world.  The first thing He showed me was the upcoming apostasy.  There is no doubt that many people are becoming apostate.  Churches and denominations are being harassed and bothered by special interest groups to change their stand on certain issues and instead of standing up for biblical truth they are compromising and allowing things contrary to the Bible to happen.  Apostate people will follow what is culturally accepted at the time and not stand up for, “Thus says the word of the Lord.”  Then He told me that the great apostasy was already here and that many will allow their calling to grow cold.  Another sure sign of His coming is the current economic situation.  The world is on the verge of economic collapse.  Recently they said the economy and America was improving but it is a false sense of security.  It has been built on borrowed money and that one day will have to be re-paid.  The reality is that this repayment will be at the expense of our children and their children.  Any house built on a sandy foundation will fall.  The economies of the west are all built on borrowed money and they will be their undoing.  Weather patterns will again be a major story in the future.  Earthquakes, super hurricanes and typhoons will increase.  Tornado’s , ice storms, floods and unusual weather catastrophies will become more and more prevalent.   All these are birth pains of the end of the age. 

     The one thing He made clear is that His coming is soon.  We are too live prepared.  Draw close to Him and live each moment as if it were because the reality is that it could be.  Right now as I write this short essay.  Someone will take their life, a person will die of cancer or a heart attack.  Someone just ended their life in a car accident or a work related accident.  Someone just died in a senior’s home or a young person overdosed because of substance abuse.  The reality is that every moment someone just died and went to a lost eternity.  We can change that.  We have to tell, warn and plead with people to give their lives to him.    We possess the greatest news that mankind needs.  Jesus Christ is the answer for the world today.  In my dream I could see the coming end.  It will be both scary and exciting.  The tragedy is that so many Christians know mentally that it is coming but they have not prepared their hearts and lives according.  It is time to let go of mental assent and prepare for eternity.  It is only one breath away.  Paul tells us in Ephesians that we are redeem the time.  My dream reminded me of that.  By the way I have only had four dreams of this kind in 40 years of being a Christian.  Each left me with a sense of urgency and a renewed desire to tell others.  I in turn challenge you to do the same.
