God cries out for His people

God cries out for His people   -  Seventy Three

Here is a truth people of God.  God hears the cries of his people. God hurts when his people hurt.
God bottles every tear that his people have shed Ps. 56:8.  There are times the Lord seems silent but He is far from silent.  It is during these times that the Lord is doing His deepest work.  It is a work that you cannot see because it is subtle and long term.  Little by little, bit by bit the Lord is changing us from the inside out.  This is a work that cannot be rushed.  It takes time to change the course of a large ocean liner in the midst of a terrible storm.  Your life is like that sometimes.  The storms of life have rocked your boat and world.  You have been trying to pilot the ship yourself with no success.  It is time to turn the wheel to the Lord and let Him pilot the ship.  One man put it this way if God is your co-pilot you are in the wrong seat.
God has heard and felt every cry.  He has felt every hurt and he has gathered all our tears and put them in a bottle.  He sees what is happening.  Maybe your world will come crashing down around you like an avalanche.  The Lord has seen what caused the avalanche and he knows how to shield and help you.  You will not be buried by the problems and you will not be overwhelmed.  Remember no temptation you face has not been felt by others but with the temptation the Lord promises a means of escape.  Even when it seems like he is hiding face, he is working his grace to complete a beautiful work in you. Your circumstances will change, but God wants to change you more.
Mark Lowry put it this way, “The things you face have come to pass they have not come to stay.”  They are there for a while but they will pass away.  Remember heaven and earth will pass away but not the Lord’s word.  He said, “He would never leave you or forsake you and He will not.”
God hasn’t wasted a single hurt, disappointment, or tragedy. With his nail-pierced hands, Jesus the potter reaches into the messy clay of our lives and sculpts each of us into a masterpiece.   Did you know that you are God’s workmanship.? You are made in the image of God and nothing is more beautiful than you in His eyes.  What looks impossible to human eyes looks like an opportunity for Jesus to do the him-possible and reveal his greatness to us.
Nothing is more beautiful than God transforming you into the image of Jesus:  That is why the Lord tells us present our bodies as living sacrifices so that we can be transformed.  There is nothing more beautiful than transformation.  So whatever trial you are facing today, hold on. Remember God’s faithfulness and trust in his goodness.
