Following after false teachers

Following after false teachers  -  Seventy One

There is coming a time and even is now upon us where as Churches turn away from the Holy Spirit many believers will go to false teachers.  It will become like the days of Eli and Samuel.  The word of the Lord will be rare.  We must always keep a strong emphasis on the person, work and power of the Holy Spirit.  He has many gifts and fruit that He wishes to bestow and flow through us.  The Holy Spirit is the one who illuminates the Word of God.  He is the one who empowers prayer and directs the Christian to the Son.  He takes what He hears and passes it unto us.  When the Holy Spirit is neglected or replaced by talent, ability, personality or flash , the door is open to false teaching.  The Word of God is the standard for faith and practice.  It was written by men who were driven along by the Holy Spirit.  He authored the Bible and He is the one best to teach and reveal it.  When churches abandon or water down the Word the only thing left is manmade philosophy and doctrines of demons.  When churches allow things expressly forbidden by scripture they have destroyed its authority, integrity and power.
We are in the midst of a great falling away mainly because many of those who stand behind the pulpit are well educated in the philosophies of man but not the word of God or they interpret  it either through their seminary bias or denominational traditions.  The word of God which is strong food for the soul has been reduced through these hirelings to baby food.  No wonder the church is perishing.  People without vision perish.  The church does not have its eyes on the Savior like it should.  God however has promised a great revival in the last days and it is about to come upon us.  The Word of God will once have its proper place among the remnant.  Those who refuse this revival will continue in their lost ways but those who hunger and thirst after righteousness will be filled.  Come to the water and drink.  Come to the table and eat.  The messengers are being sent out.  They are calling, “will you come?”  Remember the final words of the book of Revelation.  The Spirit and the bride say come.  So come.
