Jesus’ First Miracle.
John 2:1-11 - Jesus’ First Miracle.
This is the account of where Jesus turns the water into wine. Jesus is invited to a wedding. He goes there with His disciples. The wine runs out and Jesus mother comes to Him and tells Him about it. Jesus replies to His mother that this has nothing to do with Him. But His mother instead of becoming offended over His answer told the servants to do whatever Jesus told them to do. A lesson here is that when you first get refused by God instead of becoming offended and hurt do whatever he asked you to do next. This is a test that happens become the miracle comes.
Jesus told the servants to bring out water pots and fill them with water which they did. Jesus then turns the water into wine which then is brought to the governor of the feast, who declares the wine to be the best he has ever tasted. When Jesus brings a miracle of supply it will be the best miracle you could ever receive up to that time. Here are three others lesson we can learn from this account today.
1. This miracle shows Jesus’ abundance and compassion.
2. Mary His mother was a woman of perception and obedience.
3. Jesus was telling all at that wedding that the time of His ministry had started and through Him God would be glorified. I trust that would be your desire as well.

It is the beginning of the week and here is a thought to ponder. Bitterness is one thing that rots from the inside out. It is so easy to be hurt in our world today. A small offense can turn into a big problem. Always choose to forgive and let the Lord help you to forget. Today make it your aim to walk in God's love, grace and forgiveness. To forgive is a decision. Make it your aim today.

Power to Change
Jeremiah 29:11 NIV –
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the
LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a
future.
It has been said, that God loves you too much to leave
you the way you are. Change has always
happen whether you want it to happen to or not.
There are three reasons why people change.
1. They have learned what they need to learn.
2. They
have suffered enough.
3. They
got tired of the same old thing.
Simple Definition of change
: to become different
: to make (someone or something) different
: to become something else
In the
Biblical sense: You were going to hell,
following the devil, world and flesh.
You chose to respond to the gospel, gave your life to Christ and chose
heaven, eternal and abundant life. When
Jesus called Peter and John, he told them they would fishers of men. When Jesus called Matthew, he simply said
follow me. In Zaccheous’ case he wanted
to see Jesus and Jesus came to his house and he was never the same.

One of the reasons Jesus was put to death because he
presented a new reality and truth. He is
the way, truth and the life. People
resist change because he creates fear.
But faith embraces change, welcomes it and goes forward.
Jeremiah says. God
knows the plans He has for you. Plans to
prosper and not to harm you. He has
plans to give you a hope and a future.
