Oct 31 – I will – Psalm 132:15-16
Oct 31 – I will – Psalm 132:15-16
God has made a promise to Israel and David. He makes that same promise to His people today. First,
They will have abundant provision. God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory. He is
Jehovah Jireh, your provider. He will satisfy the poor with the basic needs of life. God will always meet
Our needs of clothing, shelter, food and transportation.
He will clothe His ministers with salvation and His people with joy. What a great promise. Salvation
And joy. Salvation brings eternal life and joy is deep seated contentment in all situations. Joy is your
Strength. It brings fulfillment and restoration. Salvation brings abundant life. You cannot be robbed
from when you have full and complete salvation. Today as you go throughout the day live in salvation,
joy and God’s provision. His promise today is that He will never leave or forsake you.

Oct 28 – Psalm 132:1-5 Keep a vow
Oct 28 – Psalm 132:1-5 Keep a vow
In this Psalm we find David making a vow that he would not slumber or sleep until he has made a
place for the Lord to dwell. He had a love for the house of the Lord. Do you love the house of the Lord?
Have You made a vow to not miss going to his house? Today most people have a carless view of going
To Church. They will go when it feels right. David knew the value of it. He loved the house of the Lord.
He said in Psalm 122:1, that he was glad when they said let us go the house of the Lord. Jesus made it
His weekly habit. If going to church was valuable to Jesus and David it should be valuable to you.
We must give up our careless ways concerning this. The writer of Hebrews stated that we should not
Forsake the assembling of ourselves together. You will backslide easier if you forget God’s house. It
Must be a vital part of your life. So today ask the Lord to give you a love for His house like David. Then
Make the decision that you will not miss church. This is a choice and discipline. David did and he was
A man after God’s heart and you can be as well.

Oct 27 – Psalm 131 –Still your heart
Oct 27 – Psalm 131 –Still your heart
David has made a decision in this psalm and that is to still his heart. He wanted to it to slow down
and be like a child. He told his audience that they needed to put their hope in the Lord. Daily we need
to set a time aside to be with the Lord. This time should be a time of worship, reading God’s word and
prayer. It should also be a time where we quiet our heart to hear from the Lord. Life in general is busy
and full of noise. The urgent and the crisis are calling for our immediate attention. Others wanting us to
jump to their tune. Get away with God and hear from him.
The Yoga teacher says to mediate and exercise. God says come away and meet with me. I will heal,
Restore and energize you. I will show you my love and hope in this quiet time. David knew the value of
This time even as a king his life was very busy. Yet he knew the value of a quiet time. Make sure you
Have one today. It will help you to get your priorities straight and your life in right perspective. Quiet
Your heart and let God speak. He has something good to say to you today. He loves and cares for you.

Oct 26 – Full redemption – Psalm 130:7-8
Oct 26 – Full redemption – Psalm 130:7-8
The psalmist reminds today that we need to put our hope in the Lord. In fact Paul writes in 1 Cor
13:13 that three things remain and that is faith, hope and love. When you have the love of God, you put
your faith in Him and this gives you hope. Now with the Lord you have unfailing love. His love covers a
multitude of sins. His love always comes through. You have a love with no strings attached.
In the Lord you have a full redemption there is now lack in Him. He will meet everything you need.
The Lord will redeem His people. He will buy them back from whatever they have sold themselves into.
Who the Lord sets free will be free indeed. Our gift to ourselves is to remain free. Never sell yourself
Back into slavery. Today enjoy the full benefits of a full salvation. Walk in in His compassion, unfailing
Love, His full salvation and freedom.

Oct 25 - My Hope – Psalm 130:4-5
Oct 25 - My Hope – Psalm 130:4-5
This passage is a paradox. One hand the psalmist states that with the Lord there is forgiveness but He
is also to be feared. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. In fact if it wasn’t for the Lord’s
forgiveness we would end up in hell. Fear in this case has to with respect, awe and worship. When you
fear the Lord you are aware of your own short comings.
The writer then states that He waits for the Lord. With his whole being he waits on the Lord. He is
Waiting for the Lord to answer. He knows the Lord will answer. We can know the same thing. The
angel Gabriel told Daniel the same thing in Dan 9:23 and 10:12, that even before the request was out of
his mouth Daniel’s answer was on the way. Timing is everything in the things of God. The writer closes
with his hope being in the Lord. The Lord has given His word. Every man may be a liar but the Word of
God is true. So today respect God. Wait for His answer and trust His word to come true.
